About Benny's X-Plane Site

This is my personal web site dedicated to the coolest flight simulator available for PC and Mac: X-Plane from Laminar Research. To find out more about this great piece of software, visit the X-Plane web site. I made this page mainly for publishing my own stuff I created for X-Plane. Check out the Aircraft and Scenery pages.

All screenshots on this site are made by myself (most of them still show the outdated version 5 of X-Plane). Click

  • September 2001: A note to all X-Plane fans in the USA after the horrible terrorist attacks (where planes that we like so much were abused as deadly weapons): My best wishes and prayers are with you. Marques' wonderful Lemonade X-Factory on the Links page.

  • February 12, 2001: I received something like a medal of honor: Austin Meyer asked me whether he could use my generic terrain textures as default textures in X-Plane! Unfortunately this is not possible because they are partially based on "non-commercial use only" files, but at least my Mars texture will make it into the next version of X-Plane! I frankly admit that I'm damn proud...
